The classic board game Go. The objective is to surround a larger total area of the board with your stones than the opponent.

Set your marker on any crossing of the board to start the game. Switch turns with your opponent, setting one stone per turn. Enclose your opponent's stones completely to capture them from the board. Command more territory than your opponent by the end of the game to win. Utilize tactics to block your opponent's moves while extending your own territory. Note that stones are immovable once placed, unless captured. The game ends when both players forgo their turns consecutively, indicating no more plays can benefit either side.
