Xiangqi

Chinese Chess board game against a computer opponent. To win you need to capture the general of your opponent.

Place your pieces according to their individual movement rules. The Commander can only move one square at a time within the nine-pointed star. Guards can only move diagonal moves within the palace. Elephants move exactly two squares diagonally and cannot cross the river. Knights move one square straight and then one square diagonally, but can be blocked by adjacent pieces. Chariots move any number of squares straight, serving as powerful attackers. Cannons move like chariots but must jump over exactly one piece. Pawns move forward one square and gain new movement after crossing the river. Capture the opponent's general to win the game. Plan your moves carefully to outmaneuver the computer opponent.
