Gomoku

Connect exactly 5 of the same stones in a row (horizontally, vertically or diagonally).

Set your marker on any unoccupied intersection of the board. Try to make a row of 5 stones in a sequence, either horizontally, vertically, or at an angle. Prevent your opponent from forming their own sequence of 5. Switch placing markers with your rival until one player succeeds in making a row of 5. Note that the game finishes immediately when a line of 5 is made, with no need to cover the entire board.
